Do Not Use This Company!!

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!
I had them move my one bedroom apartment and it took them forever to move it ! I hired two gentlemen and really only one worked . One of the gentlemen looked like a teenager had his pants down so low I had to look at his boxers and butt all morning ! He also was on his phone four times watching loud videos !! Anyway they moved my things to a storage unit where they moved even slower .. they then dropped my headboard that I had for years and cracked the wood and the whole thing is ruined !! They also cracked my flat screen tv . I call the manager and she says all she can give me is $50 off for all damages . Please if you value your furniture you work hard for DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! They don’t care about your things and are so rude!! I’m def. reporting them they shouldn’t have a business at all.

Do NOT use this company!

I have dealt with the manager, Tom, who by the way is the only one who answers the phone, in all instances. He is extremely belligerent and unprofessional on so many levels. I want to say that the guys working for him are all very hard workers, but this is beside the point.

Prior, I used them 4 different times to move items and drive to donation facilities and would have thought they would care about a consistent customer who consistently tipped, used them, and even dealt with the price hike. This time, I had to move my entire house to a storage facility. It was a 14 hour day, and I was only allowed to pay cash. Again, the men were hard-working and positive and helped a great deal. This issue is with the COMPANY and the OWNER.

My issue started when I told the boss of the group to NOT PACK items that I set into a specific corner, as I had to live in a hotel for 2 months until the new place was ready. Because the men working do not speak English other than the head guy, they loaded all of my belongings, work laptop, children's clothes, everything I needed for 2 months, and then they had no idea where it was.

When I called Tom the next day to let him know I CAN'T WORK, and have 2 storage units filled top to bottom, back to front, he said as cavalierly as possible, "not my problem" - "you were supposed to be packed up". He then said I should have told the guys not to pack it, and I told him, " I DID TELL THEM, but they didn't understand me because they don't speak English", he then stated "I'm done with this conversation, you are being discriminatory", and HUNG UP ON ME.

I called back, completely baffled, angry, upset on countless levels - I used Google translate with the guys, bought them lunch, donated TVs to them, tipped them on top of the cash hourly move, and then to be flippantly discarded and accused of discrimination because they could not communicate with me. As a business owner of a "certified and insured" company, I never dreamed I would get yelled at and hung up on.

When I called back again to let him know I cannot work, he hung up on me again. The driver then called an hour later and said his bosses were yelling at him, and he would come after his shift. He came with two new guys at 7:30 pm where I waited outside in 100-degree weather at the storage facility. He said he knew where my belongings were, and then demanded $200 for him to find it, and dinner. I had no other choice.

They 2 HOURS to unload one 10x20 storage unit, top to bottom, and my belongings WERE NOT THERE. They put it all back. They ended up finding my work equipment in the second 10x15 storage unit. I was grateful to have found one of the items, but all the rest of the stuff I just am finding now.

This brings us to now, 2 months later, where I, of course, hired another company to load from the storage units into my house. As soon as we lifted the bay door on the first unit, because of the way they packed the unit, boxes were torn, they stacked heavy items on fragile items, and damaged a $5000 bed with an adjustable frame, along with having several items crushed, leaked on, irreparable (I have pictures and video).

I called and of course reached Tom, because the moving guys told me I needed to file a claim with whoever packed this unit because in all their experience "it was the worst packing job they had ever seen". The head mover said that the way they treated my belongings was akin to robbing me.

When I told Tom there was so much damage he said, "how do you know it wasn't the new guys you hired" . Then he said, "it's too late. You should have filed the claim within 14 days." HE IS THE RUDEST, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, UNCARING INDIVIDUALS I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH.

I have reached out to Better Business Bureau and CFPB. DO NOT trust this company with your time or belongings. They truly do not care. I have been so mistreated. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!! There are plenty of other reputable companies.

Better this second time around.

This is my second time using them. After doing some shopping around, I decided that I would use them again since they weren't too bad the first time, plus their price were better than others. I was VERY impressed with their service this second go around. Mainly because the crew was great! I did have the same driver, but the other 2 guys were better this time. They were nice, careful with my belongings, and pretty quiet. I'm going to use them in the future if I need to move again. I just hope I can request this crew again! And, as an added bonus, it ended up taking a shorter amount of time than I was quoted. Who doesn't like that?!

An average move.

The move was OK. They were a little later (20 mins later) than the timeframe I was given. I tried to call them, but never got a hold of the salesman, Andrew. Luckily, one of the movers did call me to say they were going to be there shortly. Two of the three men were wearing uniforms (T-Shirts). They were pretty thorough, making sure they only took what I told them to. They shrunk wrap most things, but not all. One of the crew members were smoking and did a lot of spitting. Someone threw their dolly on top of my plant. I asked them to move to it and they did. The crew seemed nice and they got the job done. So, all in all I guess that's all that matters. They took my stuff to storage. I can't say for sure if all the belongings were unharmed as I wasn't there the entire time to see them unload it. They left the contract at my house, so I had to go back (I had to go back anyways). When I came back they were done. Perfect timing! It ended up costing less than I was quoted, so that's a bonus!

Awesome Movers.

I thought because I wanted two hours of service, the movers  would work slow so I would have to pay for extra time but, it was the opposite. Two movers came to my apartment and got right to work. These guys were awesome! Most of the items were really heavy. They wrapped and secure my items and placed in the truck with ease.  They also completed the job in the time agreed upon. I was very pleased and would hire them again in a heartbeat. Fantasic job!!
